My Story

My love for interior design began long before I ever imagined starting my own studio. As a child, I spent hours cutting images of furniture out of IKEA catalogs handed down to me by my aunt and carefully pasting the pieces into rooms I had drawn myself. Even then, I was captivated by how spaces come together and how thoughtful design can transform the way a space feels.

That early creativity eventually gave way to a successful 10+ year corporate career spanning luxury fashion and corporate finance, where I built a foundation rooted in organization, efficiency, attention to detail, and client service at the highest level. While my professional roles were demanding and rewarding, I was always searching for a creative outlet - finding small ways to bring beauty, order, and thoughtfulness into otherwise structured environments.

Stepping away from the corporate world to pursue interior design was not a departure from my experience, but rather a return to what has always felt instinctive. MCS Design Studio is the natural intersection of creativity and process: a studio where refined aesthetics meet structure, clear communication, and intentional execution.

Today, I live in Fairfield, Connecticut with my husband Andrew, who is my college sweetheart, and our two young children, Henry and Jack. Our life is busy, joyful, and deeply rooted in the idea that homes are meant to be lived in. Growing up spending summers in Niantic, Connecticut instilled in me a lifelong connection to the coast, and a love for New England and its ever-changing seasons, which is what led us to set down roots in Fairfield. These influences continue to shape my design perspective to this day.

My work is heavily influenced by this sense of place: coastal, light-filled interiors with clean lines, subtle modernity, and an emphasis on comfort, flow, and livability. I believe homes should reflect the people who live in them - supporting real life while still feeling beautiful, personal, and enduring.​

Through MCS Design Studio, I bring together my lifelong passion for design, my professional discipline, and my belief that every home should tell the story of the people who call it theirs.
